Three scales, one tool
Celsius is used in most of the world, Fahrenheit in the United States, and Kelvin in science. Converting between them trips people up because the scales have different zero points, not just different sizes. This converter handles all three correctly.
The formulas
Fahrenheit to Celsius subtracts 32 then multiplies by 5/9; Celsius to Fahrenheit multiplies by 9/5 then adds 32. Kelvin simply shifts Celsius by 273.15. The calculator applies these for you, so a weather forecast, an oven temperature or a science value converts in one step.

- Water freezes: 0°C = 32°F = 273.15 K
