Knowing your age in whole years is easy, but the exact figure — years, months and days — takes a little care because months have different lengths and leap years add a day. This calculator does the arithmetic precisely from your birth date to today, and also shows the total number of days you have been alive.
How it's worked out
It counts complete years from your birthday, then the remaining whole months, then the leftover days, borrowing correctly across month boundaries. Because it uses real calendar dates rather than a fixed 365-day year, it stays accurate through leap years. It's useful for forms, eligibility checks, milestone planning, or just curiosity.
